Allow me to explain with you why I don’t stress about learning and knowing everything about Montessori before beginning my training.

Knowing Everything about Montessori isn’t Necessary

I understand that as an aspiring Montessori parent, or even just a curious person, as you determine to learn everything about Montessori before getting started.

Trust me, I was in your shoes not too long ago. I did a ton of research on Montessori and read countless books and articles on the subject.

But here’s the thing: You don’t need to know everything about Montessori before starting.

In fact, it’s actually beneficial to not knowing everything.

Why? Because as you begin your journey into Montessori, you’ll be able to organically learn about the philosophy and how it applies to your life and parenting style.

There is so much information out there on Montessori (and every other parenting style/philosophy), that it can be overwhelming.

And if you try to learn everything at once, chances are you’ll become quickly bogged down and frustrated (been there, done that).

So my best advice is to take it one step at a time. Start with the basics and work your way up.

Learn about Montessori as you go. And don’t worry if you don’t know everything right away.

Trust me, nobody does.
