Here’s a life-changing question for Montessorians of all levels of experience that are READY to confidently follow the child into a beautiful transformation of independence and self-esteem…
What’s the difference between a confident and knowledgeable Montessori Guide that has a firm foundation on The Montessori Method and is able to change children’s lives by knowing exactly how to reach them in their hearts and in their minds…
…and a lost, uncertain Montessori lover that doesn’t reach her full potential because of her limited knowledge and her limited beliefs?
If you guessed…
…how to determine whether a child is adjusted and confident in the Montessori environment, you would be wrong.
…how to tacitly encourage independence and self-esteem, you would be mistaken.
…or how to know beyond a shadow of a doubt when a child is ready for a Montessori work, you would still be ever so badly mistaken.
Because at the end of the day, it isn’t about “getting it done and over with,” but about truly knowing the child and respectfully, lead them to a path where they can flourish.
Like anything else in the world, there are two ways of doing things:
aimlessly play the guessing game and hope for the best or to mark a determined and sure path to smooth, successful Montessori days.
If a determined and sure path to smooth, successful Montessori days is what you want in your Montessori environment…
You’ll want to discover how to build a firm foundation in The Method so you can experience the confident Montessori Guide I know is inside.
Here’s what you will need to know about smooth, successful Montessori days that transforms you as a Montessori Guide and changes children’s lives…
While the potential for every Montessorian to enjoy doing Montessori is very possible, it takes core elements to a true foundation in the philosophy.
With these core elements in place, the days of lack of confidence will become a thing of the past as you beginning to experience the beginning benefits of these elements.
The internet can be so overwhelming with all the well-meaning Montessori advice at your fingertips, leaving you feeling overwhelmed and lost.
If you’re anything like me when I started to discover the key to smooth, successful Montessori days, you know that you don’t want to be running with the first Montessori fad that just requires time and money while you are still feeling completely lost.
Yet being ‘new‘ to Montessori or needing more guidance in it, you may be unsure how to do it, let alone how to get to a point where you are confident in the Montessori philosophy and it shows.
The more I committed to Montessori, the more I began to shift my methods because of the wonderful information I was learning.
The more I learned about The Montessori Method, the more confident I became while seeing more and better results from having a firm foundation to begin with.
However, I was eager for the overwhelming learning curve to be completed so we could experience more that it had to offer for everyone who was a part of my Montessori environment!
As I faithfully followed The Montessori Way, I was on the road to smooth, successful Montessori days without realizing that this was going to be the reward that I reaped for being committed to this method of education.
It felt great to finally experience The Montessori Way to its full and wonderful potential.
Now, I help other Montessori Guides remove the intimidation and overwhelm to be able to identify where to begin for their particular Montessori journey…
But before I share that with you, I want to tell you about why the majority of Montessorians aren’t getting these types of results that they deeply desire… and deserve.
The REAL Reason Most Montessorians Aren’t Experiencing Smooth, Successful Montessori Days
After 15 years with Montessori, I have witnessed so many Montessori Guides and Montessori homeschoolers who were overwhelmed with ‘doing it right’ and stress of not knowing where to turn to not just to have smooth, successful Montessori days, but watch children thrive in the Montessori environment.
I know hundreds of Montessorians that are striving for endless hours, year after year, and yet, no closer to experiencing happy, normalized children in their Montessori environments.
Sadly, these children aren’t any closer to being independent in their learning either, even though they have been diligently aiming at normalization.
Montessorians are some of the most dedicated people I know and deserve to experience how this philosophy truly leads to smooth, successful Montessori days.
I’m talking about…
- Not having enough Montessori training to know the foundations of the philosophy
- Having children in different planes of development and not knowing how to attend to each
- Experiencing a Montessori environment that doesn’t focus on peace and having a hard time shifting that
- Forgetting to center oneself as a Montessori Guide to be able to serve children to her full potential
- Struggling to track children’s work to balance activities and subjects
- Figuring out how to do Montessori when they don’t have the materials needed
- Not knowing how to deal with discipline or behavioral issues the Montessori way
- Not having the mental fortitude to be a Montessori Guide as intended (not intervening or interrupting)
- Dealing with storage and organizational issues because of the many bulky Montessori materials
- And the list goes on and on…
The good news is that almost every one of these Montessori tasks can become easier RIGHT now. In fact, most of this list will be simiplified with the core elements of this method put into place.
These things are fueled by the WRONG things that keeps Montessorians providing a neverending cycle of having to interrupt and intervene in not-yet-normalized children’s work, instead of giving them solid steps to follow that will shortcut their normalization and, in turn, you will get smooth, successful montessori days.
The truth is that if you want different results, you need to do things differently.
But first, you need to know exactly what these core elements are that leads to normalization and smooth, successful Montessori days.
“The greatest sign of success for a teacher is to be able to say, ‘The children are now working as if I did not exist.’”
― Maria Montessori
Here’s Why Most Children Never Become Normalized
Trying Montessori always starts with so much potential.
You have so many things on your mind that you want to try with children, but you never feel like you have enough time to actually hone in and to build a firm foundation in the Montessori philosophy.
If you feel what you have in Montessori knowledge will help you run smooth, successful Montessori days while focusing on developing independent, confident children, it makes it even more important to understand that everything hinges on having a firm foundation on the Montessori way.
On top of that…
- You know that everyone looks to you in terms of the success of the children in your Montessori environment.
- You believe that things will just ‘magically happen’ and everything will be butterflies and rainbows.
- You trust that there is a way to have it all: a firm foundation in the method, a centered Guide and smooth, successful Montessori days.
And it is with this ‘knowledge‘ that you stay whole-heartedly committed to trying Montessori education, doing what you believe to be the solution even though you experience stress about what to do, pressure about the lessons and keeping consisitency without going crazy.
With a focused commitment and sense of calling, you get started.
You start gathering Montessori materials and begin planning all the things you want to incorporate in your Montessori environment. It starts off with anticipation and excitement…
– but after you begin you get overwhelmed to not know if you are taking the right steps and heading in the right direction.
You begin doubting yourself.
You start comparing your journey with other Montessorians.
You wonder what you are missing that they are doing right.
You begin doubting that it is worth the effort.
Overwhelm sets in, and you start to feel the pressure of those little lives depending on you and that you will ruin them.
Then YOU begin questioning your ability to be that spark of learning…
How do I keep records for all the children?
Why do I have to follow the child?
Am I even doing the Montessori lessons in order?
And worst of all…
Even if I figure out how to do Montessori, is it even possible for peaceful Montessori learning to take place?
How can I remember how to use all of the Montessori materials?
Will children learn what they are supposed to?
Is it even possible to have smooth, successful Montessori days with all of the mounting expectations from today’s educators?
Adding to your own concerns, the overwhelm increases by lack of independence, patience and normalization in the children you are teaching.
They are frustrated because they crave consistency in their Montessori environment and you have yet to find it yourself amid all the exhaustion.
It doesn’t matter if you are a cup half-full or silver-lining person, you will eventually want to give up on trying Montessori because it looks so different from what others say it is supposed to.
The fact that you’re not knowledgeable enough or haven’t brushed up on the Montessori philosophy to actually develop happy, normalized children as well as have smooth, successful Montessori days, you have trouble trusting where to turn for sound advice from an experienced mentor.
And that’s it.
You won’t be experiencing the joy of following the child.
You won’t be experiencing spontaneous learning activities.
You won’t be experiencing an organized plan to keep you consisitent.
You won’t be to be the Montessori Guide that you so desire and deserve.
And for all of your hard work, you will have a less than desirable experience by having a half-baked plan, which, in reality, will be going against the way children learn best.
REAL TRUTH: Your Montessori fears are totally justified.
While the odds to smooth, successful Montessori days seems low – the potential of this happening is high!
Almost unreasonably high… with the right core elements.
SO many things have to look different from what you are picking up along the way as ‘the Montessori way’ to even get on the best path that leads to the right Montessori way.
- You need to recognize that it’s probably best to not go at it alone.
- You need to structure a doable and reasonable Montessori plan of action.
- You need to create a peaceful and learning-driven Montessori environment.
- You need to put your focus on your main goal, which is happy, normalized children.
- You need to build a Montessori planner to keep you organized and on task.
- You need to develop and implement a firm foundation on the Montessori philosophy.
- You need to select the best Montessori works, based on the children’s Sensitive Periods.
- You need to grow confidence in Montessori knowledge and experience by doing.
- You need to foster natural curiosity, grace and courtesy in your Montessori environment.
- You need to provide children with a preprared environment to let their independence flourish.
- You need to train your heart and mind what it means to ‘follow the child’ and how to do it.
- And so much more…
And because you are so busy in doing life and doing the best you can already, you don’t have a lot of extra time to figure out the core elements for doing Montessori successfully with a trial and error approach.
The core elements to the Montessori are the very things that will begin to become very real for you when implemented correctly.
Building a firm foundation in the Montessori philosophy is the first step to smooth, successful Montessori days.
You don’t have the time to attempt to figure out the exact core elements that will equip you with the tools you need to achieve your Montessori goals.
In fact, the core elements necessary to smooth, successful Montessori days are not easily found ‘out there’ because everyone’s situation is different in one way or another.
You may find the right ones for you here and there but it took years for me to discover these elements through taking a dreadfully dry Montessori training and reading through dozens of Montessori philosophy books while adding them to all the teaching Iwas doing before I experienced the happy, normalized children I longed for.
Assuming you can follow a cookie cutter Montessori plan or curriculum that another school, environment, homeschooler or Montessori guide is using and get the same results is often what causes most Montessori Guides to experience the friction and overwhelm in her day. This friction will eventually rob her of the joy and satisfaction that she desires and deserves to claim as your own.
The difference between smooth, successful Montessori days and all of what that entails and time-consuming and frustrated plans that lead nowhere are the core elements.
BUT… here’s the good news.
The Montessori Way Foundations Framework™ includes a wonderful blueprint for happy, normalized children that results in smooth, successful days when these core elements inside are implemented in Montessori.
With the right framework covering the core elements of the Montessori philosophy that leads to a centered and confident Montessori Guide, you will find the understanding and implementing to commit to Montessori that will bring you the best result that you could have asked for.
What It’s Like Being a Centered and Confident Montessori Guide
I clearly remember that sinking feeling of, “What have I done? How am I supposed to do this Montessori thing on my own?” Sigh. But I persevered. I didn’t give up.
I went back to reading all of Montessori’s books and developed my plan. It was so time-consuming! It took many sleepless nights to create, but I did it! I made checklists, lessons, planners and more!
Implementing Montessori at home was easier. The day when I accomplished my long-awaited goal of happy, normalized children, which led to my most desired goal: smooth, successful Montessori days will be one that I will never forget.
I know it sound cliché, but I cracked the code and it was the best feeling ever. No more overwhelm. No more exhaustion. No more irreparable frustration (in the children or me).
Now that I know how to follow the core elements to experience my desired goals, I can NEVER go back to the way things were before!
When it comes to experiencing smooth and successful days in Montessori, there’s nothing that compares to the Montessori Method that leads to independent and confident children.
The biggest mistake that most Montessorians make is that they don’t understand that the Montessori philosophy is alive and malleable to fit every situation that looks completely different for them than that of others doing Montessori as well.
Montessorians spend more of their time being stuck in the figurative ‘Montessori box’ and trying to fit in with the rest.
The core elements for a firm foundation in the most important aspects of the Montessori philosophy consists of empowering the Montessori Guide by committing to breaking down these impotant aspects into digestible lessons to delve into deeper understnading and removing the overwhelm of having to “learn all the things” at once.
What Montessorians don’t realize is that if they faithfully implement four main pillars for a firm foundation in the Montessori way when understanding the child’s periods of development deeply and the role of the Montessori Guide in the environment, they will be securing smooth, successful Montessori days for themselves while nurturing happy, normalized children.
And by happy, normalized children, I mean independent and confident children.
When a Montessori Guide is able to equip children to follow their natural passion for learning, they have secured smooth and successful days for everyone in the Montessori environment.
Are you ready to invest in your Montessori life with a tried and proven framework that leads to smooth, successful Montessori days by nurturing happy, normalized children?
The fact that you are still reading this…
- I KNOW you have a strong desire to develop a firm foundation in the Montessori philosophy because all success in inplementing the method hinges on this one thing
- I KNOW you are done with exhausting and fruitless plans that leaves you overwhelmed and depleted as a Montessori Guide.
- I KNOW you desire confidence in your ability to follow the Montessori way even though you face fear and doubt – like everyone else – some of the times.
- I KNOW you desire to learn once and for all how to successfully follow the child so you’ll will know how to keep the flame of peace alive and kindle independence in learning.
- I KNOW you are ready to get organized with a plan that leads to less overwhelm, even though you’re not completely clear on what that looks like or how to go about implementing it.
And that’s why I’m elated to invite you to join me in The Montessori Way Foundations Framework™ where I’ll guide you on how to expand your Montessori thinking in a way that will set you up for success in your Montessori environment like you have never seen before.
Are you ready for smooth, successful Montessori days?
If so, I would love to introduce you to …

Definitely a much deeper understanding of the concept of ‘the normalized child’!
Before this framework, I had a HUGE block to this phrase. After your lessons, I learned that this is not a “one size fits all” for kids, and the concept, combined with the other core concepts we have learned about, actually support the unique qualities of the child.
Thank you!
I have found this module to be very freeing –
I have released expectations and focused on what makes my son and daughter’s “hearts sing.”
I guess to sum it up, the topics of interest have been fascinating…
I was not absorbing before now!
Thank you, Tanya! What a gift!
What scared me the most about doing Montessori is what is actually giving me the most freedom.
Like all your modules, this one was well thought out, very well organized, interesting, with easy ways to implement.
Organization has never been my strength, but I’m finding with Montessori, it is very possible to be creative and organized.

This doesn’t mean that you need to come into the program with a firm foundation on the Montessori philosophy… that is what we do inside the framework.
All you need is the commitment to this wonderful method of learning… and a desire to do Montessori the right way by not doing it alone.
You do NOT need to be certified in Montessori or have any Montessori training to join.
Although this is a foundations framework, you’ll discover how to learn exactly what you need to in the vast Montessori philosophy to get you one the right Montessori way.
If you cancel your payments, you will be obligated to pay your remaining balance in FULL upon cancellation.
If you need more time, and desire to renew your program at the end, you’ll have the ability to renew at the same price you enrolled in as long as you renew during the 14-day renewal process.
