When doing Montessori, you can feel lost very easily. Having a Montessori community is instrumental in keeping you accountable and motivated. Come find out what I’ve learned from my Montessori community.
Joining a Montessori community has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. Not only is it an excellent way to stay connected with other parents and teachers who are passionate about Montessori, but it also provides me with invaluable knowledge and support that helps me grow in confidence as a parent.
Through my interactions with others in the community, I have learned many valuable lessons about parenting, teaching, and living life according to the ideals of Montessori philosophy. In this article, I will share some of these insights so that you too can benefit from them.
Watch & Listen to the Episode Here:
As you watch or listen to this training, know that you will be able to get more information than what is included in this blog post.
However, I really want to encourage you to take the time to watch or listen and take notes.
Importantly, this will be helpful to you now and in the future.
#1 Knowing that I am not alone
There is something special about getting to know and communicating with others who are also passionate about something.
We learn together, we grow together, no matter where we are in the world. Montessori is an amazing educational system that helps children and adults alike to reach their full potential.
But it can be difficult to stay on top of all the learning and teaching involved in Montessori.
That’s why having a supportive Montessori community can make such a huge difference.
#2 There’s power in knowledge
When many of us are coming together to learn and grow, then we cover more ground.
It’s awesome to share experiences and new things that we discover in this wonderful philosophy.
By joining this type of community, you will not only find people who are passionate about the same things as you, but also gain invaluable knowledge and support that will help you grow in confidence as a parent or teacher.
In this article, I’ll share some of the insights I’ve learned from my own experience with my Montessori community so that others may benefit too!
#3 Growing confidence in support
When you are in a close and trusting group, you have more opportunities to grow your confidence.
Even if you are a lurker at first, soon, as you learn and begin to apply The Montessori principles, you will be so excited to share you progress and your good (and not so good) experiences.
Let me share with you some ways to begin connecting with a Montessori community:
